“Botany & Botanical Nomenclature” can be taken as a stand alone class or as a required class in the 4 part Natural Nurse Herbal Certification Course.
18 Continuing Education Units are conferred to Massage Therapists, Nurses, Dietitians and Midwives who complete the full four-part series and all required assignments.
Natural Nurse Herbal Certification Course:
- BASICS of Herbal Medicine Sunday March 8, 2020 9:30 am – 11:00 am
- Botany & Botanical Nomenclature Sunday April 5, 2020 9:30 am – 11:00 am
- Using Herbs for Yourself & Your Family Sunday May 3, 2020 9:30 am-11:00 am
- Feeling the Consciousness of Plants Sunday June 7, 2020 9:30 am – 11:00 am
This class meets for four Sundays over a four month period, from 9:30 am-11:00 am. The class will be live online with the instructor in real time. It will be interactive with question and answer sessions. If you miss a class, you can make it up anytime before the end of the course, by calling into the recording of the class.
The instructor will email the Call-in information the day before class, along with links to Power Points and other learning tools/instructional materials we will use during class.

(1) Practitioners wishing to receive 18 Continuing Education Units (CEU) must:
- Register for & attend all four classes in the series
- Pay the full tuition of $175 + the $15.00 CEU processing fee for a total of $195.00 (paid in advance)
- Purchase the course text book, The Natural Medicine Chest, by Ellen Kamhi, PhD RN and Eugene Zampieron, ND
- Successfully complete all homework assignments

(2) If you want to receive only a Certificate of Completion (without CEUs) from the Florida School of Holistic Living you must:
- Register for & attend all four classes in the series
- Pay the full tuition of $175 (paid in advance)
- Purchase the course text book, The Natural Medicine Chest, by Ellen Kamhi, PhD RN and Eugene Zampieron, ND
- Successfully complete all homework assignments.

(3) You may register for a single class ($50 in advance) for your own personal educational development. If you choose this option you will not be eligible for a Certificate of Completion but may also register for 3 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the single class.
