Lecture: Drug Nutrient Depletions

December 3, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST

Feel free to share this:

As a health industry professional, whether or not you prescribe pharmaceutical drugs, it’s important to understand the nutritional deficiencies that using pharmaceuticals can cause, and how appropriate dietary recommendations, and supplementation can offset this common cause of health problems. Join Ellen Kamhi, PhD, RN as we review specific drugs: High Blood Pressure Medications, Cholesterol Lowering Drugs, Anti-Inflammatory, Hormone Replacement, and other pharmaceuticals, and the known depletions that they cause. It is also most interesting to note the ‘mirroring effect’ of the nutrient depletions and adverse effect profile of these drugs. Health Food Store Personnel can Legally Advise Customers on which supplements would be wise to replete …. for example- Statin Drugs- Co Q 10, Birth Control- B Vitamins, Aspirin- Vitamin C
