ThanksGiving Back with Bhavani Jaroff of iEatGreen

Preparation for Thanksgiving 2018 at Rufus King Park, Jamaica, Queens NY
Feel free to share this:

I have been friends with Bhavani Jaroff for a very long time. She is a Natural Foods Chef, Educator, Farm to School Coordinator, Radio Host, and Food Activist. She has over thirty years experience cooking healthy, fresh, organic food. From time to time, Bhavani and I collaborated in the Edible and Medicinal Herb Walk.

For the past 24 years, she would prepare a Thanksgiving Feast for the people in need and distribute warm clothing at the Rufus King Park, Jamaica Queens. This year Bhavani, the volunteers, and several organizations will prepare the feast again. Here’s a short documentary about the event that took place in 2018. It was such a wonderful experience for everyone involved.

My team and I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your family and friends. May we all stay healthy (yes, we can have a healthy Thanksgiving menu), happy and be thankful for the blessings that we receive each day.
