Dr. Eugene Zampieron, ND, AHG, interviews Dr Jillian Stansbury about the Plants’ Intelligence which is the ability of the plants to respond to the challenges in their environment. The plants can learn, communicate, and remember the patterns of their surrounding.

About Dr. Stansbury

Dr. Stansbury is a naturopathic physician who has practiced in Battle Ground, WA for nearly 30 years specializing in women’s health, mental health, and chronic disease.  She holds undergraduate degrees in Medical Illustration and Medical Assisting and graduated with honors in both programs.  Dr Stansbury is the former Chair of the Botanical Medicine Program at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR and remains on the faculty teaching natural products chemistry, botanical influences on cell biology, ethnobotany field courses, and other topics in herbal medicine.     

Dr Stansbury has published numerous herbal books including the 5 volume Herbal Formularies for Health Professionals, and also writes for numerous professional journals and lay publications, plus teaches around the world at  medical and herbal conferences.  She frequently travels to Cusco – “the navel of the world” – and the Peruvian Amazon, studying South American plants and working with various tribes in the jungles of Manu and Iquitos.
