Managing Depression, Anxiety, and Stress: An integrated medical and health approach was the topic of discussion when host Ellen Kamhi, PhD, RN interviewed Dr. Robert Goldman.

Who is Dr. Robert Goldman?

Dr Goldman is a licensed psychologist and attorney who has been specializing in helping patients cope with the ordinary and an extraordinary stressors in life. He has worked as Supervising Psychologist for several years.

Throughout his years of experience, he has learned how toxic stress can be to your entire body and how important it is to teach others about resiliency. Dr. Goldman believes that it is important to work collaboratively with the medical and social systems to prevent and treat neurological and mental conditions. As an attorney, Dr. Goldman has argued for better access and education to those in need of mental health services. He has also worked with many families and their respective school districts to ensure that their children get the educational services that they need.

Dr. Goldman is an adjunct professor at Hofstra University and St. Joseph’s College. He has conducted research in the area of Autism and the treatment of Delinquency. Dr. Goldman is the co-chair of the Neuroscience and the Law Committee. His other professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association, The Suffolk County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
