About Dr. Sally

Sally received her Doctorate in Pediatric Physical Therapy from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2016, her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of California San Francisco, School of Medicine in 1980, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from San Diego State University in 1979. She is licensed to practice physical therapy in both Texas and California.

She is certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT), and has Technique and Diplomat Certification in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute in Florida. In addition, she is trained in visceral manipulation, lymphatic drainage, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, Dynavision, Biodex and several listening therapy programs.

Dr.  Sally Fryer Dietz is the Founder and Director of Integrative Pediatric Therapy and Integrative Concussion Therapy in Dallas, Texas.  Sally lectures and teaches nationally and internationally on sensory integration, developmental therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, concussion rehabilitation and the efficacy of combining traditional and alternative treatment methods.  She has written 2 books “When Kids Fly!  Solutions for Children with Sensory Integration Challenges 2015” &“Sensory Processing Solutions – Drug Free Therapies to Realize Your Child’s Potential” 2023.

Kristine has a passion of teaching children about herbs.She is the creator, writer, and illustrator of Herbal Roots zine, a monthly online publication that teaches kids about herbs. Kristine features one herb at a time through a variety of games, stories, songs, puzzles, mazes, crafts, recipes, and coloring pages. She helps parents who want to teach their children about the medicinal use of herbs by giving them the tools they need to accomplish that goal. Kristine offers courses that parents can take over a one year period to help parents focus on a group of herbs each year. Kristine is also the author of Herbalism at Home: 125 Recipes for Everyday Health. 
 
Additionally, Kristine was the kid’s camp coordinator for the Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference from 2012 – 2015 and for the Green Gathering in 2018. Along with Leslie Alexander, Kristine has run the Kid’s Herbal Activity Hub for the AHG Symposium since 2015. She has taught kid’s classes at the Montana Herb Gathering, and the Great Lakes Herb Faire. She has also hosted Herbal Sprouts camps out of her home for local children.
