Those plants are still there\, and you can learn how to use them safely for food and medicine. We will visit many of our local plant allies\, and discuss how to safely identify\, gather\, prepare\, and use our local plants for food and medicine. This knowledge can be for fun\, or possibly for survival! \nEllen Kamhi (PhD RN\, AHN-BC\, RH(AHG)\, author of The Natural Medicine Chest\, has been teaching people how to recognize\, collect and safely use local plants for over 50 years; she will be your guide to the wild edibles and medicinal weed walk. \nTo register please call/text Mary Trester 631-827-3709 or e-mail:  Mtrester7135@gmail.com\nAfter the tour\, we will be able to purchase vegetables at the farm stand.
