It has been called bearded hedgehog\, pom pom mushroom and a host of other names. \nModern science has uncovered multitudes of health promoting properties including neuroprotective agents\, enhancement to nerve growth factor (NGF) release\, and reducing the formation of proteins that accompany diseases.
