DESCRIPTION:3 CE Broker Credits are available for Licensed:  Nurses\, Midwives\, Massage Therapists\, Acupuncturists & Nutritionists when this class is taken individually\nREGISTER HERE: https://www.holisticlivingschool.org/events/online-natural-nurse-herbal-certification-course-class-two-botany-botanical-nomenclature-2020/ \nApril 5\, 2020\n9:30 am – 11:00 am \nJoin nurse and herbalist Ellen Kamhi for an empowering and enriching journey into basic herbal medicine.  You will learn essential vocabulary\, the difference between extracts\, tinctures\, capsules\, infusions\, and decoctions\, standardized\, holistic balance\, as well as the safety and efficacy of herbal medicines.\n\n“Botany & Botanical Nomenclature” can be taken as a stand alone class or as a required class in the 4 part Natural Nurse Herbal Certification Course. \n\n\n18 Continuing Education Units are conferred to Massage Therapists\, Nurses\, Dietitians and Midwives who complete the full four-part series and all required assignments.\nNatural Nurse Herbal Certification Course:\n\n\n BASICS of Herbal Medicine Sunday March 8\, 2020  9:30 am – 11:00 am\n Botany & Botanical Nomenclature Sunday April 5\, 2020 9:30 am – 11:00 am\n Using Herbs for Yourself & Your Family Sunday May 3\, 2020  9:30 am-11:00 am\n Feeling the Consciousness of Plants  Sunday June 7\, 2020  9:30 am – 11:00 am\n\n\nThis 4 class course\, offered by nurse and herbalist Ellen Kamhi\, RN\, is designed to offer flexibility for beginning or advanced herbal students. Use this series of classes to ignite your inspiration towards better health with practical plant-based tools.  Students may register for a single class\, or for the full four-part series.  If you register for the full four-part series\, you will be eligible for a discounted tuition.\n\nThis class meets for four Sundays over a four month period\, from 9:30 am-11:00 am.  The class will be live online with the instructor in real time. It will be interactive with question and answer sessions.  If you miss a class\, you can make it up anytime before the end of the course\, by calling into the recording of the class. \nThe instructor will email the Call-in information the day before class\, along with links to Power Points and other learning tools/instructional materials we will use during class. \n\nThere are three options available:\n\n\n(1) Practitioners wishing to receive 18 Continuing Education Units (CEU) must:\n\nRegister for & attend all four classes in the series\nPay the full tuition of $175 + the $15.00 CEU processing fee for a total of $195.00 (paid in advance)\nPurchase the course text book\, The Natural Medicine Chest\, by Ellen Kamhi\, PhD RN and Eugene Zampieron\, ND\nSuccessfully complete all homework assignments\n\n\n\n(2) If you want to receive only a Certificate of Completion (without CEUs) from the Florida School of Holistic Living you must:\n\nRegister for & attend all four classes in the series\nPay the full tuition of $175 (paid in advance)\nPurchase the course text book\, The Natural Medicine Chest\, by Ellen Kamhi\, PhD RN and Eugene Zampieron\, ND\nSuccessfully complete all homework assignments.\n\n\n\n(3) You may register for a single class ($50 in advance) for your own personal educational development.  If you choose this option you will not be eligible for a Certificate of Completion but may also register for 3 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the single class.\n\n\nAssignments can be emailed to instructor. The Capstone Herbal Preparation Project will need to be ‘snail mailed’ to instructor.\n\n18 CE Broker Credits are available for Licensed:  Nurses\, Midwives\, Massage Therapists\, Acupuncturists & Nutritionists \nTuition:\n$50 for a single class\n$175 for all four classes (must be paid in advance)\n$190 for all four classes + CEUs (must be paid in advance) \n\n\n
