You will learn essential vocabulary\, the difference between extracts\, tinctures\, capsules\, infusions\, and decoctions\, standardized\, holistic balance\, as well as the safety and efficacy of herbal medicines. \nEach class can be taken as a stand alone class or\, enroll in the four-part Natural Nurse Herbal Certification Course. \n18 Continuing Education Units are conferred to Massage Therapists\, Nurses\, Dietitians and Midwives who complete the full four-part series and all required assignments. \nNatural Nurse Herbal Certification Course:\n \n\n\n\nBASICS of Herbal Medicine Sunday March 17\, 2019 9:30 am – 11:00 am\nBotany & Botanical Nomenclature Sunday April 14\, 2019 9:30 am – 11:00 am\nUsing Herbs for Yourself & Your Family Sunday May 12\, 2019 9:30 am-11:00 am\nFeeling the Consciousness of Plants Sunday June 9\, 2019 9:30 am – 11:00 am\n\n\n\nThis 4 part course\, offered by nurse and herbalist Ellen Kamhi\, RN\, is designed to offer flexibility for beginning or advanced herbal students. Use this series of classes to ignite your inspiration towards better health with practical plant-based tools. Students may register for a single class\, or for the full four-part series. \nThis class meets for four Sundays over a four month period\, from 9:30 am-11:00 am. The class will be live online with the instructor in real time. It will be interactive with question and answer sessions.
